It's Giving Tuesday--a day many set aside to give to organizations and causes that matter to them.

At Big Country Home Educators, that cause is faith-based fellowship, support, and opportunities for area home educating and hybrid educating families. We are passionate about helping to organize and provide classes that engage students and support parents, memory-making events that are fun while also honoring faith and sincerely held beliefs, and sports that promote discipline and teamwork without dominating family life.

For as long as God calls us to do so, BCHE admin, staff, board members, and teachers are dedicated to serving families and helping BCHE to thrive. This Giving Tuesday, you can help!

If you feel led, here are some specific needs we are currently working to fund:

• BeeKeeping 101 class: We need extra funding for a class project that is helping students prepare to be future Texas agricultural bee keepers.
• Drama Program: We need help to cover program costs (drama teachers, materials, costumes, performance rights, etc) while keeping participation affordable for families.
• Scholarships: We get requests from families who would like to participate in classes, prom, sports, etc, but are unable to do so because of extenuating financial circumstances. One of our favorite things is being able to bless a family with a scholarship, and your gift can help!
• Guardians Sports: We are expanding into new format and competition directions, and need funds to help support additional coaches and equipment for students to use during practices.

• Senior Trip 2025: We have 16 seniors in our Grad Program this year, and several are working hard to fund their senior trip--these awesome grads would be so thankful for community support to help make sure they're able to participate in this memory-making adventure.
